Who We Are

              We are a group of believers in Christ coming together to worship God and to seek to know God, to know His teachings, and to experience His love and grace. We truly believe that the Bible is God's divine words for our daily walk with Christ. We, as part of Christ's body, come together to learn to love one another and to encourage one another. We are a group of individuals who have been saved by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, and are eager to share such good news with everyone. As commanded in Matthew 28:19-20 and II Corinthians 5:18, we are called to spread the Gospel to the rest of the world until the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

              Over ten years ago two Chinese Christian couples began a home Bible study when there weren't many Chinese in this area. As more Christians joined them, they moved the study to an American church they went to for the Sunday service. In 1993 the small Bible study grew larger and the core families formed the Boise Chinese Christian Fellowship. Over the years God has blessed the fellowship and the Holy Spirit has brought many Chinese to Christ through this group. In 2001 we, led by the Holy Spirit, established Boise Chinese Christian Church, and started the Sunday worship services.

              Today we face new challenges every day as we continue to strive toward fulfilling the church missions. We are seeking a spiritual leader who shares the vision of reaching out to the Chinese community and to the world. We pray that such a leader will lead us in making the church stronger and glorifying Christ's name.
