STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe the Holy Scripture, both New and Old Testaments in its original language, is the inspired word of God and contains no error. It is the complete revelation of God's will for the salvation of mankind and the ultimate authority for all Christian's faith and life.

We believe in the one true living God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

God the Father:
We believe in God the Father, who is infinitely perfect. He is the creator, the ruler, and the sustainer of heaven and earth and everything therein.

God the Son:
We believe in God the Son, Jesus Christ, true God and true Man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross and shed His blood as atonement for the sins of men, and was raised from the dead three days after His death. He ascended into heaven where at the right hand of the Majesty on high. He now is our High Priest and Advocate. He will return imminently and personally to judge the world and to establish His kingdom.

God the Holy Spirit:
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Godhead who is of substance, equal in power and coexistent with the Father and the Son. His ministry is to convert non-believers, regenerate the believing sinners, and to indwell, guide, instruct and empower believers for godly life and service.

We believe that man is created in the image of God. Because of disobedience and other sin, man suffers the consequence of sins - death, which is the eternal separation from God. Salvation for man can only come from Jesus Christ. All who confess their sins, repent and accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior by faith will be cleansed and justified, and will be born of the Holy Spirit to become God's children.

We believe that there is one true living church made up of Jesus Christ and all who accept him as their Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ is the head and the believers are the body. The believers worship God, encourage and support one another, spread the Gospel and lead all people to Christ.

We believe that all men, both believers and non-believers, will be resurrected from the dead. The righteous ones will be with God and will be eternally blessed. The lost ones will be eternally punished.

This statement of faith is not meant to be complete. If this statement is inconsistent with the Bible, the Bible is the higher authority.
