The Boise Chinese Christian Church started in the early 90s by two Chinese Christian families as a Friday Bible study and fellowship. As the people in the fellowship grew, the Friday meeting, in 1993, moved to Boise's Mountain View Baptist Church, establishing the Boise Chinese Christian Fellowship. In addition to the Friday fellowship, in order to for the spiritual life of brothers and sisters to grow and to go out and evangelize, the fellowship also organized various retreats, Gospel camps, and other activities. Then in 1997, weekly prayer meetings were organized. In April of 2001, after the group's brothers and sisters in one accord prayed for God's will, we decided to start having a regular church meeting on Sunday, thus establishing the Boise Chinese Christian Church.
